Organisational Governance / Monitoring & Evaluation Expert

Overview

This position is newly created for an experienced Project / Program Manager with a strong background in Organisational Development to lead on further developing and maintaining an organisation-wide Governance and MEAL structure as well as ISO 9001 Framework.

Key objectives / responsibilities of the role
  • Maintain and further develop organisational governance structure including meeting management and decision-making system.
  • Maintain, strengthen, and facilitate Monitoring & Evaluation of projects at organisational level.
  • Maintain, strengthen, and facilitate Monitoring & Evaluation of Departments.
  • Manage online monitoring tool and compile monthly reports of project and departmental outputs.
  • Provide monitoring and evaluation data and information to relevant bodies as requested.
  • Maintain and further develop organisational reporting structure.
  • Provide framework for and facilitate process of new project design and set-up.
  • Manage deviations from established project tolerances together with Project Coordinators.
  • Facilitate pathway for Project Changes if tolerances are exceeded according to ISO procedures.
  • Regularly facilitate project justifications/reviews to ensure relevance and sustainability.
  • Maintain framework to facilitate organisational risk and issue management.
  • Facilitate pathway for Organisational Changes according to ISO procedures.
  • Facilitate strategy meetings, if applicable.
  • Sit in the Quality Assurance Team (QAT) to facilitate ISO 9001 compliance.
Required degree/experience
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Project / Program Management and/or Monitoring & Evaluation.
  • Strong background / knowledge of organisational development is highly desirable.
  • Experience / knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems highly desirable.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Experience in meeting moderation / facilitation.
  • Experience in using and maintaining databases.
  • Experience working in NGOs.
  • Fluency in English and Greek is required.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team including prioritising workload and deadlines.
  • Ability to create a respectful work environment where an atmosphere of trust and integrity prevails, and everyone is accountable for one’s conduct and performance.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desire to work in a solidarity organisation
